REENTRY SUPPORT FOR MEN & WOMEN LEAVING INCARCERATION
Labyrinth Reentry Services is on a mission to reduce recidivism through comprehensive, holistic support of individuals who have experienced incarceration or arrest.
We assist men and women transitioning from the Illinois Department of Corrections and McLean County Jail by helping them regain dignity and stability, and develop the necessary skills for independent living.
At just 6%, Labyrinth's recidivism rate is
86% lower
than the Illinois average of 43%.
Case Management & 1:1 Mentoring
Supportive relationships are vital for individuals getting ready to transition back into their community. Peer Recovery Specialists are trained to engage in a caring, compassionate relationship to help clients stay focused on their personal goals.
Labyrinth House Rapid Rehousing
Labyrinth Reentry Services’ existing apartments will continue to serve individuals in need who would otherwise be unhoused. One apartment will be utilized as needed to assist justice-involved individuals awaiting placement into permanent housing. The remaining three apartments will be occupied in partnership with Center for Human Services as part of the rapid rehousing program.
Employment Services & Job Readiness
Workshops explore résumé development, interviewing, financial literacy, explaining a criminal record, and uncovering careers that can lead to economic stability and success. Our coaches help clients with job search preparation, how to use personal networks to find employment, preparing for job interviews, and how to utilize soft skills to remain employed, as well as providing education to potential employers and partners.
