(Girls: Building Empowerment and Uniqueness)

Girls: Building Empowerment and Uniqueness (Girls BE U) is an empowerment group offered to McLean County junior high and high school girls which allows them to explore their own unique and positive qualities through an open and creative curriculum.

As program participants gain greater self-awareness and confidence, their newly acquired skills and knowledge will enable them to become leaders and role models for others. The program allows girls to meet new people, try new things, and tap into their personal strengths and abilities within a safe and healthy environment.

A $25.00 program fee will be due at time of acceptance into the program.

Session topics include:
Topics include healthy relationships, career exploration, volunteerism, and self-image. Girls will engage each topic with an interactive and hands-on approach, such as group activities, discussions, games, journaling, crafts, videos, and opportunities for new experiences.
