What We Do
YWCA McLean County is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families, and strengthen communities. We proudly serve people of all backgrounds through every stage of life – our youngest child care clients at six weeks old to seniors serving through RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Service). We are an inclusive organization, serving everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or ability.
The YWCA Stepping Stones crisis hotline is free and confidential and is available 24-hours for anyone who has experienced sexual assault or abuse and stalking.
The crisis hotline is managed by YWCA Stepping Stones. A survivor's call will be immediately connected to a YWCA Stepping Stones staff member or volunteer, eliminating any waiting time.

At Labyrinth Made Goods™, we provide empowering opportunities to women who've experienced incarceration through our bespoke, 100% soy candles inspired by our stories and mission.
Labyrinth Made Goods was launched in the Fall of 2020 as part of YWCA McLean County's Labyrinth Outreach Services to Women, a program dedicated to reducing recidivism through women's empowerment. Our community came together in so many ways to support the founding of YWCA Labyrinth. Labyrinth Made Goods continues that legacy through our partnership with multiple community organizations to provide our employees and participants with the best support and resources our community has to offer.
Sexual assault is a crime motivated by a need to control, humiliate, and harm. Perpetrators use sexual assault as a weapon to hurt and dominate others. Learn more here.
Year-round, part- and full-time early learning are provided at YWCA on 1201 North Hershey Road, Bloomington. YWCA Young Wonders part- and full-time early learning designs activities to nurture children's intellectual, social, and emotional development. Learn more here.
