Sexual Assault is sexual contact or behavior that occurs without the explicit consent of the victim. Some forms of sexual assault include attempted rape, fondling or unwanted sexual touching, forcing a victim to perform sexual acts (such as oral sex or penetrating the perpetrator's body), and penetration of the victim's body, and more (RAINN).

After sexual assault, it's common for survivors to feel lost or overwhelmed. It's important for survivors to be aware of their options so that they can make the decision that is best for them. Whether it's counseling, medical advocacy, legal advocacy, or access to the 24/7 hotline, Stepping Stones wants to make sure all survivors have access to the resources that they deserve.
