YWCA McLean County helps retired people and senior citizens stay active and independent through a wide variety of programs and services.
RSVP is an invitation to retirees and adults over 55 to get involved in serving our community. RSVP helps people stay energetic and connected to Bloomington, Normal, and McLean County. We maintain an ongoing list of volunteer opportunities. Call 309-662-0461 for more information.
The Driver Safety Program is an 8-hour course taught in a classroom setting by trained volunteer instructors over a 2-day period in two 4-hour sessions.Participants must attend both days to receive a certificate of completion. When turning the certificate of completion in to your auto insurance agent, you may receive a discount on your premium.
This course updates drivers on current Rules of the Road, explains vision and driving examinations, and prepares applicants for the State's written and road sign exam. Rules of the Road is a program of the Illinois Secretary of State Department. The course is open to all ages and lasts for two hours. No registration is required.
